SPECIAL NEEDS PARENTS WORKSHOPS

Welcome to ACT Training Services

Are you a parent or carer of a child with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND)?

♦ Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by EHCP meetings, school decisions, or planning for your child’s future?

If you are a parent living in London and raising a child with SEND aged 5–18, this workshop is for you. We designed this practical session to equip SEND parents with essential tools and knowledge and to build confidence. Join us to learn how to:

  • Use AI tools to support SEND advocacy and communicate more effectively

  • Help your child improve learning and independence using AI and digital tools

  • Identify funding and financial support that many families don’t realise they can access

  • Understand what happens when children transition into adulthood

  • Access useful SEND resources and support networks

This is a friendly, supportive session where parents can also connect with other SEND families in the community. You will leave with practical tools you can start using immediately, such as strategies for advocating for your child's needs and resources for accessing additional support services.

Location: E12 (Manor Park, East London)

Cost: FREE Refreshments provided

Spaces are limited to keep the workshop supportive and interactive.
